1990 Alpinestars Mount Xross Frame/Fork. AL mega. Gravel, Yeti, Cross, Hybrid

1990 Alpinestars Mount Xross Frame/Fork. AL mega. Rare, one-year-only frame prior to the company going to all elevated chain-stays in the 1991 model year. Seat-tube: 17" center-center; Top-tube 21.5" c-c.
Frame has some scrapes and minor chain-suck, but nor dents or dings. (I have tried to photograph the most glaring issues.)
There is a reducer shim in the seat tube. Included is a straight-blade Alpinestars Cro-mo fork. Paint is heavily faded. Requires an 1-1/4" threaded headset (not included).
UPDATE: Have found a quill stem and set of flat bars that I'm adding to the mix. Please check out the added photos. Have adjusted the price accordingly...
Have had this frame for awhile now and was a total mystery to me until recently. With the riveted cable guides and plum color, it reminded of the 'Head' branded Yeti's of the late 80's. Please check out the provided link to see what the bike looked like originally:
