1991 Schwinn Paramount Road Frameset - 58cm - Preowned
Handcrafted in Waterford, WI, the Schwinn Paramount road frameset represents the pinnacle of American high end road frames from Schwinn. According to Waterford, this was the 4th frameset that was produced in December of 1991. This is one of the OS (oversize tubing) models, featuring oversize True Temper tubing for a lighter and stiffer yet more comfortable ride than the older Columbus Paramounts. Full set includes frame, fork, ,red Paramount bottle cages, and Paramount branded Stronglight headset. This frame is in fantastic structural condition and has no dents or notable corrosion. It does have some cosmetic blemishes, including some large paint chips on the stays, near the bb shell, and under the top tube (see photos). Overall a great candidate for restoration or the start to a high quality steel road build!
