    FIBERGUARD Conditioning Relaxer System New&Improved retains more of the hair's structural integrity than ever before. The New FiberGuard System preserves up to 40% more of the hair's strength, which is significantly more than conventional relaxer compared with a loss of only 30% for hair fibers relaxed wit FiberGuard. However, the cumulative loss of strength for hair fibers relaxed with conventional relaxers is likely to be greater than 50%, if hair is previously processed with permanent hair color. Such a loss of strength may cause hair to break, split or crack, ultimately preventing hair growth to longer lengths. Damaged hair becomes dry and begins to appear dull and lifeless.
