Laguiole, a small Aveyron village in Southern France, lent its name to a famed curved pocket knife with a bee motif. It was very popular with agricultural workers in the last century for their seasonal migration.
Nowadays many cutlery firms manufacture its model using very different techniques and materials.
Because Laguiole knives with highly variable qualities have appeared from France and around the world, you should be sure of your knife’s provenance.
Founded in 1902
by Blaise Dozorme, also referred to as "the wolf," the Claude Dozorme brand is the signature of a long and modern family tradition.
