I have this frame for a few years, it is a French hiker in 700 C of the 50’s, perhaps before, made by a French craftsman. The nameplate has disappeared, but it’s a handmade frame with FObur tubes ( Mr. Noël Burdillat made light tubes in Villeurbanne, near Lyon in the center of France, these tubes were mainly used by Sabliére, Routens, and other Lyons manufacturers of handmade hiker bikes), quite light, the frame alone weighs 1,95 kgs, which is light enough for his size. The signature craftsmanship is recognized by the N° engraved on the Ar leg, equipped with a Stronglight competition headset and a 120 mm BB Stronglight for a double chainring.  It is designed for Mafac Critérium cantilever brakes and equipped with Lefol Martelés mud guards. It’s a geometry typical of these years with Nervex lugs from the 50s, it’s written on the steering tube. Rear spacing 120mm, for 4 or 5 speeds. The paint is in bad condition, but there is no deformation, nor pocs and its structure is good. He deserves, of course, a new painting to regain his former brilliance. Supplied with original seatpost, stem, Stronglight cranks 49 (not 49D) in 170mm and Ta chainrings 51/46 with bolts
and dust caps
