How to Use:
Wash hair with Gold Pre-Treatment Clarifying Shampoo 2 to 3 times
Towel dry hair to remove excess water
Blow-dry hair to 70% dry
Pour approximately 2-3 oz. of Gold Keratin Hair-Straightening One-Day Treatment solution into a bowl
Apply to hair with a brush using 1"€ sections
Comb through every section with a fine comb to ensure that the keratin treatment is evenly distributed
Cover the hair with a plastic cap, allowing the treatment to get into the damaged cuticle
Allow hair to absorb solution for 15-20 minutes
Blow dry hair with a paddle brush until it is 100% dry
Using a heat-resistant carbon comb, divide hair into 4 sections
Using a flat iron at 400-410 degrees, start at the nape of the neck, taking 1/8 inch sections
Slowly move the iron from roots to ends 3-4 times to seal the keratin into the cuticle
Do not wash hair for 12-24 hours
Wear hair down. Do not use pins, clips, or ponytail holders
After-Care products:
After 12-24 hours, wash hair only with Gold Keratin & Protein Shampoo and Conditioner.
Apply Gold Keratin & Protein Deep Maintenance Treatment once a week for a better result.
Apply Gold Keratin & Protein Activator when blow-drying or ironing your hair for a beautiful smooth and shiny finish.
Tips: For the Keratin treatment, we do not recommend high temperatures. Using temperatures as high as 430 F and 450 F will cause hair to become brittle after a period of time.
