    Description

    1994 MARINONI ULTIMO FRAMESET
    COLUMBUS MAX NIVACROM STEEL TUBING
    EXCELLENT CONDITION
    SIZE 60cm C-C
This is a rare 1994 Marinoni Ultimo frameset. Made in Canada. Super stiff and responsive, yet compliant Columbus MAX tubing.
Includes Chris King silver headset (except the top cap), spacer to allow a 1'-1/8" stem to be installed on the 1" threadless fork, and a Campagnolo seatpost bolt.
Excellent condition. No dents. Chrome seatstays and chainstays. The Columbus decals on the fork blades can easily be removed if desired. Insides of tubes have been treated with Frame Saver.
I am not the original owner. The original owner told me he had it repainted by Marinoni himself. The color is a rich burgundy metallic that glows more to the red when under sunlight. The closest paint match I found is from a 1966 Ford Mustang, should you need to find touchup paint for the frame. There is only one paint chip that needs touched up, which is on the right side of the downtube midway between the head tube and downtube shifter boss.
    Geometry:
    Seat tube:  60cm C-C
    Seat tube:  61.5cm C-T
    Top tube:  590mm
    Chainstay:  405mm
    Head tube length:  190mm
    Steerer tube length:  280mm
    Angles unknown
1" head tube diameter. Fork is threadless. Includes a spacer to allow a 1-1/8" stem to be used.
English threaded 68mm wide bottom bracket.
    130mm rear chainstay overlocknut dimension.
Two waterbottle braze-on bosses, and braze-on front derailleur mount.
Internal rear brake cable routing through top tube.
Included are two photos showing how the frame looks when built up. The ride was terrific and it tracks like a rail! The only reason I am selling is that I am 6'-3" and getting older, and the 60cm frame size is too small for me anymore. I just finished swapping the components over to a 63cm 1997 Bianchi Ti Megatube frame.
