. The Type Cover features a QWERTY keyboard, including a full row of Function keys, Windows shortcut keys, and multimedia controls. A touchpad is built-in so you won't have to worry about using a mouse. All of the keys on the Type Cover are backlit so you can still read the keyboard in low-light situations.
The Type Cover's magnetic interface is designed to provide stability while in use. When the cover is closed, it automatically turns your Surface 3 screen off. When the cover is folded back for tablet mode, key presses are disabled to prevent any accidental typing. Additionally, it guards against bumps and scratches and defends your Surface 3 screen when shut.

Return Shipping
