1988 ARC Mike Appel frame.
57cm c-t-c, 58 c-t-t; 56cm top tube, c-t-c; 155mm head tube.
TruTemper T1; Henry James lugs, fork-crown, and BB.
Zero rust; Framsavr'd.
No dings or scrapes.  No accidents.
Some chipping to the paint, and some touch-up.
The lugwork is unsurpassed.
Many aficionados and critics say Appel is the best US frame maker ever, and better even than Confente, Valsasina, and Camilotto across the Atlantic.  I have tried to capture in photo some of the feathering and details.
Appel built the best Trek racing frames for Tour de France riders, and other pro's.  He quit Trek for 3 years and built his own frames-- only 3 years, so they are rare.  He now does Trek's custom finishes, again for the pro's etc.
