RARE Witcomb Bike Frame & Fork. 58cm frame. Includes Headset + Bottom Bracket
Witcomb was renowned for their lightweight frames that rode well. I dont know the history of the bike other than I bought this in a lot of other high end vintage road bikes and frames.
The paint is so nice, I believe it has been repainted, it was well done and looks terrific. A few minor scratches, but overall real nice!
I am including the headset, seat binder bolt, and bottom bracket.
The frame is 58cm measured center of crank to top of seatpost. The top tube measures 56cm from center of steer tube to center of seat tube.
I believe it is a mid 70's model, best I can deduct. Paint has filled in the numbers on the bottom bracket, but best I can tell the serial # = 1013616. The decals indicate it was made in England and was made using Reynolds 531 tubing.
I know its not cheap but these don't come along too often! Don't miss out on one of the finest examples left!
